Estuary English Accent
Estuary is an accent of the contemporary London sound, as well as the South of England overall. It's a blend of RP and Cockney - sometimes called Mockney. It tends to sound like either a relaxed Standard British or rather posh Cockney.

- The Estuary accent materials include recordings of AccentHelp coaches Jim Johnson & Kate DeVore guiding you through learning the accent, including leading you through a practice monologue using the accent.

- Estuary began to be recognized as a specific accent in the mid-1980's. It's commonly considered the modern London and SE England accent, using many elements of RP along with some Cockney vowels and a number of elements of American speech.
- All of the sound files are in MP3 format so that you can play them on your computer, load them onto your phone, or even burn them to a CD.
